A match made next door and across the globe! A mutual friend right here at home connected 28:19 Ministries and Arit in 2021. We were so captivated by Arit’s passion for sharing the Gospel, her passion for children, and the work she is doing with her non-profit S,T.A.R. Foundation. Her work beautifully aligns with the mission and vision of 28:19 Ministries, so a partnership was born. Arit was activated to respond after her heart was broken and stirred for the children in Ogun State who had no access to public education and whose families had no means to send them to private school. With no teaching background, God called and equipped Arit to open a primary school where children from four villages can receive free Christian education. The work that the school is doing offers the hope of Jesus in a dark world.

In 2022, God called Arit and her family to Cairo, Egypt. Without clear direction on what God would have them do, they obeyed and have been living in Cairo. God has burdened their hearts for the Muslim world and Arit has been teaching English to university students there. She continues to run S.T.A.R. and oversee the work in Nigeria.
