When is the belize mission experience?
At this time, we offer one Mission Experience to Belize each year. Our trip is every July. We typically start accepting applications in January and form our team in early February.
Are my donations tax deductible?
Absolutely! As a 501c3 organization, any donation you make to 28:19 is tax deductible as a charitable contribution. We send out giving statements every January. If you need a copy of yours, you can email accounting@2819ministries.org
what is the schedule
for the elc?
Our English Learning Community meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm. We have a schedule that is formed prior to each semester with a break during the summer semester. We try to follow a schedule similar to the school system.
Can my minor travel with you?
Of course! We love having a diverse team for our Mission Experiences. For your minor to join us without you, there are a few extra steps to ensure we are able to travel in/out of country with your child.
Why are you called 28:19 Ministries?
28:19 Ministries was named after Matthew 28:19 - the Great Commission. The Great Commission was Jesus’ last words spoken on this earth. Matthew 28:19 says, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
What is a legacy partner?
A Legacy Partner is someone who commits to monthly, recurring giving. This allows our leadership to confidently and boldly take steps towards what God has called us to.
when was 28:19 Established?
28:19 Ministries was born on August 19, 2019 and fully incorporated with non-profit status on September 10, 2019. We are confident that the speed of our incorporation is a move of God. We were told it could take a year or longer to gain 501c3 status.
where is 28:19 ministries located?
We have our headquarters in the Richmond, Virginia area, but have a call to the nations. If you'd like to mail in a donation, you can mail a check to PO Box 202, Gum Spring, VA 23065.
